Rent a Bike or Scooter

Explore at your own pace on two wheels

  • Scooter and bike rentals are available in tourist towns like Munnar, Fort Kochi, Varkala, Alleppey, and Wayanad.
  • Typical costs: Scooters (e.g. Honda Activa) cost around ₹300–₹500 per day. Motorcycles (e.g. Royal Enfield) cost around ₹800–₹1,500 per day.
  • You will need a valid driving licence. International tourists need an International Driving Permit (IDP) for motorcycles/scooters.
  • Apps like Rapido offer bike-taxi services in Trivandrum and Kochi for short distances.
  • ⚠️ Always wear a helmet — it's the law in Kerala, and police frequently check. Riding without a helmet can result in a fine.
  • Be extra cautious during monsoon season (June–August) — roads can be slippery and visibility poor.
