
Ranipuram is a hill station in Kerala, located in Kasargod district often called Kerala's Ooty. It stands 1049 meters above sea level. It's a beautiful place with a lot of exceptional plant species, butterflies, and animals. The weather is always cool and often foggy. When the fog comes, everything turns white, and can barely see anything. It's a magical place, especially in the early morning when the fog is thickest. The Forest Department offers trekking as part of the ecotourism program.
