Peruvannamuzhi Dam built across the Iruvazhinji River, offers breathtaking views of the reservoir and the surrounding hills. As part of the ecotourism program, the Kerala Forest Department offers a Butterfly garden, a Star forest garden, a Honey processing unit, a River bath facility, a Dam area, and an Animal Rehabilitation Centre packages for visitors.

If you are visiting Peruvannamuzhi dam you should visit Peruvannamuzhi Eco-Tourism Centre. A crocodile rehabilitation center, Snake rehabilitation center, Butterfly park and a children's park are located here.
